WELCOME and THANK YOU FOR JOINING US HERE. I am Julie, owner-operator of this site. WHY DID WE ESTABLISH THIS SITE? My Mom had limited use of, and constant pain in her dominant right arm since she was 4 years of age. In an attempt to reduce the pain and gain more use of the arm, she had "total elbow replacement" surgery on the March, 28, 2008. We started this site so she and others who have difficulty with their hands, wrists, arms, elbows, shoulders could share experiences and tips. THE PURPOSE OF ONE ARM NEWS is to provide a gathering place for people who have the loss of or limited use of one or both hands, wrists, arms, elbows, shoulders. We also welcome to this site, family members, medical professionals and vendors who sell assistive devices. What's NewWHAT'S NEW? July-August 2008
